Job Description

United Indian Health Services, Inc. thanks you for your interest in the position of Summer Camp Peer Counselors for the Annual UIHS May-Gay-Tolh-Kwe (“a healing place” in the Yurok language) Youth Summer Camps 2019 which will be held the week of June 17-21, 2019 and the week of July 8-12, 2019 at the Red Alder Group Campsite and the Sumeg Village at Patrick’s Point State Park in Trinidad, California. Peer counselors will be given the opportunity to work with adult summer camp staff to assist with motivating, encouraging and supervising summer camp youth participants aged 9-11 years old. Peer counselors will serve as positive role models by leading by example and participating in all summer camp activities. See the attachment for application instructions.
