UIHS is a tribal health program serving the native population of Humboldt and Del Norte counties providing primary care and community outreach services. In this integral position you will work under the general direction of the Ambulatory Services Director. You will provide coordination of clinical services to assist in service program planning and improvement. The nurse manager utilizes the nursing process to provide appropriate and culturally sensitive care to UIHS clients. They coordinate closely with Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Medical Assistant Supervisor, Front Office Assistants, other section managers or other assigned staff to support functions at designated clinic sites. UIHS offers an excellent work life balance. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 8 am-5 pm. Full-time employees enjoy 3 weeks of paid time off per year, as well as 11 paid Holidays.
